For over 100 years, we’ve been dedicated to serving the youth in the Greater Harrisburg area, and we’d love for you to be part of our journey! If you’re passionate about making a positive impact in your community and helping children reach their full potential, the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg has so many awesome opportunities to get involved.
We really enjoy partnering with other like-minded organizations to help achieve shared goals through volunteering and financial support. In fact, we’re proud to give over $30,000 each year to local organizations through our grant program. Remember what Helen Keller said? “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” That’s the spirit we believe in!
Additionally, we award over $30,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties through the Edith Class Scholarship.
Being a member of the Kiwanis Club of Harrisburg is all about making a difference for the youth in our community, building strong relationships, and celebrating the positive changes we can create together.
We meet on the first Thursday of every month at noon at Duke’s on the Riverfront, and we also come together for various service activities throughout the month. We really hope you’ll consider joining us soon—we’d love to have you!
